Hawaiian Spam Sliders Recipe

Ingredients (Taken from the video)

  • 1 12-pack King’s Hawaiian Buns
  • 1 can Span, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces, then pieces cut in to 1/2 (sided to fit buns)
  • 1 Can Dole Pineapple Rings
  • 1 dozen Eggs
  • 12 slices White Cheese, such as White American or Provolone
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 bunch Green Onions, chopped finely
  • Cooking Spray

Directions (Taken from the video)

  1. Spray a large saucepan with cooking spray.
  2. Place on stove on medium low heat and add Spam slices and pineapple rings.
  3. Cook until just starting to brown, flip and cook the second side the same amount.  Remove from pan and set aside. Continue cooking Spam and pineapple rings until all are cooked.
  4. In same pan, fry eggs, 1 or 2 at a time, sunny-side-up, until all are cooked. Set aside.
  5. Place Spam slices back in pan and melt cheese over slices.
  6. Combine mayonnaise and green onions. Mix well.
  7. Spread mayo-onion mixture over bun bottoms and tops.
  8. Place a cheese-covered piece of Spam (trimmed to fit if necessary) on the bottom buns.
  9. Add 1/2 slice pineapple ring.
  10. Add 1 egg (trimmed to fit if necessary).
  11. Top with top bun and serve.
